Yellow sticky tape in a greenhouse works as a non-toxic, visual attractant that lures flying pests with a specific, vibrant yellow color that mimics young leaves and flowers. Once attracted, the insects land on the trap and become stuck to the adhesive surface, which prevents them from feeding, mating, or reproducing on your plants.

• Whiteflies: Highly attracted to yellow.
• Aphids (Winged): Both in greenhouses and outdoors.
• Fungus Gnats/Shore Flies: Very effective for monitoring and controlling these soil-dwelling pests.
• Leafminers: Specifically, the adult, flying stage.
• Thrips: While blue is generally preferred for thrips, yellow also captures them effectively.
• Fruit Flies (including Drosophila suzukii): Useful in orchards and home gardens.
• Leafhoppers: Particularly smaller species.
• Cucumber Beetles & Squash Vine Borers: Effective in cucumber and melon crops.
• Other: Moth adults, parasitic wasps, and some species of beetles. 

• Placement: Place them just above the plant canopy or near the foliage to catch adults.
• Usage: Ideal for greenhouses, but can be used in gardens. Note that they can also attract and catch beneficial insects when used in gardens.
• Maintenance: Replace the tape once it is covered with insects.
• Limitations: They primarily catch flying adults, not larvae.
